Our pups have all been checked thoroughly by our Vet ( twice). Their first visit is within 5 days from being born. Then they are looked at again when they are 7 weeks old (a week before they go to their new homes).

Have they had their first shots ... ?

Every puppy has had it's first shots before it leaves here.

What about cropping the ears ... ?

We do Not crop our dogs ears. The ears are cropped for appearance sake only. We believe that a) the dog looks better with "natural ears"  and b) it is healthier for the dog to have their ears the way that nature intended them (not to mention the suffering saved from having their ears cut and then taped to make them stand straight).

Are their tails docked ... ?

Yes , we do dock the puppies tails.

What about their dew claws ... ?

Dew claws are a nuisance to dogs. They tend to get caught in things like sweaters, blankets etc....Lots of times they will be ripped off the paw as the pup tries to free itself. That is why we have the dew claws removed while the pup is very young.

Have they been de-wormed... ?

Our puppies will have been de-wormed at least twice before you get them.

Are they tattooed or Micro-Chipped... ?

Both tattooing and Micro-Chipping are methods of identifying a dog if it ever gets lost. Both methods are good, but we Micro-chip all our puppies.

Are the pups paper trained... ?

We start to paper train the puppies ,  but  as they are still very young when they leave here ,it will be up to you to finish the training. (Some people have trained their pups to use a litter box, just like a cat).

What is your "Waiting List"... ?

Our "waiting list" is a list of people that have told us that they would like to get a puppy from us. They tell us what colour and whether they want a male or female puppy.

When we have a new litter, we wait 3 weeks before we put the pictures etc. on our website. In the mean time we notify the people on our waiting list that we have new pup available. This means that they get first pick of the litter. They get to "reserve" the puppy of their choice, before the whole world knows that they are available.

How do I Reserve my puppy... ?

I live far from you, will you ship me a puppy ... ?

Hmmm... Yes we do ship puppies wherever Air Canada flies.......BUT........

Air Canada has some restrictions that you should know about. They will not accept live animals for shipping when the weather is TOO COLD.

This means that the pups cant fly between December to March 31. (Or anytime the weather is below 0  degrees Celcius).
